Falher is a small town in Alberta's Peace River Region. We are known as the Honey Capital of Canada, so you can just imagine how sweet we are!

Falher is a sports loving town. Of course, hockey is number one, and we love to cheer on the Falher Pirates. We’re also a big curling town, and the local curling rink is a place for everyone to gather.

Falher Fun Facts:

  • Falher was named after Father Constant Falher, a French missionary.
  • Falher was incorporated as a town in 1955.
  • Our annual honey festival pays tribute to our beekeeping industry. Our honey is known around the world as some of the best there is!
  • Falher’s Main Street features a large honey bee statue that was built by local welder, Richard Ethier. The statue measures 6.91 metres tall!
