TORONTO, June 9, 2026 – BrokerLink is growing again with two acquisitions in two provinces. The company welcomed Alberta-based Wiebe Insurance Brokers Ltd. and Nova Scotia-based MacDougall's Insurance Agency Limited on June 1.
These additions reflect BrokerLink’s ongoing commitment to Canadian communities, bringing local insurance expertise, trusted advice and greater choice to customers.
With nearly 50 years of operations behind them, Wiebe Insurance Brokers Ltd. has built deep roots in the Vegreville community, earning trust through consistent, dependable service. The team brings strong expertise in farm insurance, supporting the unique needs of rural customers. Brokerage members are actively involved in the community, supporting animal rescue initiatives, the Chamber of Commerce and a range of other local charities.
Founded in 1930, MacDougall's Insurance Agency Limited is a third-generation, family-run brokerage built on a long tradition of personal service. The team reflects Cape Breton values and provides tailored solutions for home, auto and business insurance. With a strong focus on customer care, the brokerage is known for consistency, long-term relationships and fostering strong customer loyalty.
