BrokerLink and MCT mark a successful United Way campaign in 2016

BrokerLink and MCT’s annual United Way campaign concluded in November and this year the organization-wide effort raised $198,144 to support our local communities. This gift was made possible through employee donations and time as well as support from the Intact Foundation, matching donated funds.

Since we began supporting the United Way six years ago, BrokerLink and MCT have raised over $720,000 to support community programs across Alberta, Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Through our commitment to this annual campaign, we are able to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work, helping support the United Way’s key focus areas of kids, communities and moving people out of poverty.

As in previous years, it was great to see branches across the organization hold fun and creative fundraising events. Different BrokerLink and MCT branches held bake-offs, raffles, bingo games and more to fundraise in engaging ways.
