I am a renter and don’t have many belongings. It is not worth it for me to get Tenant’s Insurance.

As well, the liability portion of your property insurance is probably the most important component of your policy. You may be responsible for causing damage or injury to another person or their property. If sued, your property insurance can protect you against financial devastation. Plus, your landlord’s insurance does not cover your personal belongings.
