A company operating under the name BrokerLink Express (a division of Canada Brokerlink (Ontario) Inc.) was recently advertised in a local community phone book. BrokerLink Insurance has confirmed that BrokerLink Express is fraudulent and is not affiliated with BrokerLink Insurance or the BrokerLink brand.
The BrokerLink Express advertisement promoted a phone number that does not belong to BrokerLink Insurance. After identifying the issue, BrokerLink took immediate steps to address the fraudulent BrokerLink Express listing by working with the phone book publisher to have the BrokerLink Express number removed from the publisher’s website and excluded from future printed editions. BrokerLink has also reported the BrokerLink Express matter to the appropriate authorities for investigation.
Unfortunately, BrokerLink cannot update or remove printed phone books already in circulation, and some residents may still encounter the BrokerLink Express listing in existing copies.
