MCT Food Bank Canada Fundraiser

FUNDRAISER RULES AND REGULATIONS (the "Rules")

No purchase is necessary to enter.

FUNDRAISER PERIOD

The Fundraiser is being held by Brokerlink Inc. (the “Fundraiser Sponsor”) and begins 12:01AM EST on June 22, 2020 and will end at 11:59PM EST on August 31, 2020 (the “Fundraiser Period”), after which time the Fundraiser will be closed and no further entries will be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the Fundraiser, an individual must be:

  • the age of majority in Ontario or older at the time of entry;
  • a permanent resident of Ottawa or surrounding areas;
  • and an individual must request a quote on a personal or commercial insurance policy from a BrokerLink broker in the Atlantic Canada region.

HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE REQUIRED. To enter without purchase or obligation, an individual must complete a personal or commercial insurance quote with a BrokerLink broker in the Atlantic Canada region, which includes the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. For each new quote, BrokerLink will donate $10.00 to Food Banks Canada. Current BrokerLink customers that meet eligibility may enter the Fundraiser by requesting an additional quote. The individual must provide their last name, first name (excluding any nickname), age, full address with postal code, telephone number with area code and policy renewal date. Upon receipt of this information by the Fundraiser Sponsor, the individual will automatically have one (1) entry in the Fundraiser. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person.

CHARITABLE DONATION

With each new quote, BrokerLink will donate $10.00 to Food Banks Canada. The individual entering the Fundraiser must meet all other eligibility criteria as well as any applicable company policies of the Fundraiser Sponsor.

SELECTION

An Eligible Person within Atlantic Canada who receives a quote with all other applicable information will be part of all entries received during the Fundraiser Period. All entries received meeting the eligibility criteria herein will be part of the same Fundraiser and will be treated equally for the purposes of the MCT Food Banks Canada Fundraiser.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Fundraiser Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Fundraiser should an event beyond its reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Fundraiser, or for any other reason whatsoever. The Fundraiser Sponsor and its affiliates may, at their sole discretion and without liability, rescind or amend this Fundraiser at any time.

Any person entering this Fundraiser or trying to do so by any means which would be unfair to the other entrants, contrary to the Rules or illegal, including computer hacking, amongst others, will be automatically disqualified and may be subject to prosecution, as the case may be. Decisions by the Fundraiser Sponsor in regard to this paragraph are final and binding.

By entering this Fundraiser, each Selected Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Fundraiser Sponsor: (i) by providing your, personal contact details and entering this Fundraiser, you consent to be contacted by a BrokerLink Insurance Advisor. You also consent to receiving commercial electronic communications from BrokerLink for the purposes of providing you a quote for the supply of insurance services. You may withdraw your consent at any time, (ii) shall have no liability of any kind whatsoever with respect to this Fundraiser and/or the awarding or use of the Charitable donation, (iii) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning the Charitable donation, (iv) disclaim any implied warranty, and (v) are not liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from the entrant’s acceptance or use of the Charitable donation or otherwise from such entrant’s participation in this Fundraiser, and (vi) are not liable for any claim arising from a the Selected Entrant’s use of or dissatisfaction with a Charitable donation.

Neither the Fundraiser Sponsor nor the Insurer is liable for any faulty computer components, software, or links, the loss or nonexistence of communications capability or faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased telephone, mail, computer or network transmissions that make it difficult or renders any person(s) unable to enter the Fundraiser. The Fundraiser Sponsor and the Insurer waive any responsibility for any damages or loss incurred, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any software or any form and by the transmission of any data relating to participation in the Fundraiser.

Neither the Fundraiser Sponsor nor the Insurer are responsible for website loading, screening or posting errors, software, hardware, mail, telephone, network or server errors and the Fundraiser Sponsor reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend the Fundraiser in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, in the event a virus, computer bug, unauthorized human intervention, or any other occurrence beyond their control corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, impartiality or normal operation of the Fundraiser. Entries are the property of the Fundraiser Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants.

For the purposes of these Rules, the entrant is the person who meets the Eligibility criteria above. This is the person who will be participating in the charitable donation made to the Eastern Ontario Food Bank Fundraiser during the “Fundraiser Period”.

The Fundraiser Sponsor may, for any reason and at its sole discretion, amend these Rules at any time during the Fundraiser Period.

The Fundraiser is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

By entering this Fundraiser, you acknowledge having read these Rules and agree to abide by them.
